Oversize Load Permit Is Required:
Width: Over 8' 6"
Height: Over 14' 0"
Length: Semi-trailer over 60' 0"
Weight: GVW determined by bridge formula-table 1 (20,000 lbs. single axle or 36,000 lbs. tandem axle)

Oversize Load Times Of Movement:
Daylight hours only except for the following (which must be properly signed & lighted): a combo more than 60′ long but not more than 85′, up to 10′ wide on interstate highways only
Loads requiring pilots are prohibited from traveling on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day holidays to include the weekend

Coast 2 Coast Online Permits

Wyoming Pilot Car / Escort Vehicle is Required:
14′ wide or greater (or will extend to the left of center line during movement) requires 1 pilot car
15′ wide or greater on the interstate requires 1 pilot car
17′ 6″ high or greater requires 1 pilot car with high pole
110′ long or greater requires 1 pilot car
25′ rear overhang or greater requires 1 pilot car
Overlength loads on interstate highways are at the discretion of the approving authority

Wyoming Pilot Car Vehicle Requirments:
Licensed vehicle, no motorcycles
"OVERSIZE LOAD" sign (5′ x 10″ high) with black letters (8″ high and 1″ wide brush stroke) on a yellow background
Revolving amber, amber strobe, or 2-way flashing amber lights (4″ min diameter) and clearly visible for 500′ from front & rear, mounted on top of vehicle
Two red or fluorescent orange flags at least 12″ square mounted on a staff at each side of the sign
CB or two way radio
A 5 lb. B,C type fire extinguisher
Three emergency triangles
Two extra red or fluorescent orange flags
Left outside rearview mirror
