Width: Over 8' 0"
Height: Over 13' 6"
Length: Semi-trailer over 48' 0" (maximum spacing of 41' from kingpin to center of rear axle)
Weight: Over 79,000 lbs. GVW (20,000 lbs. single axle or 34,000 lbs. tandem axle)

Oversize Load Times Of Movement:
No movement between 7am - 9:30am & 4pm - 6:30pm
Travel allowed on weekends & holidays
Extremely oversized loads may require night travel from 10pm - 5am

Over 12′ wide requires 2 pilot cars
Over 13′ 6″ high requires 2 pilot cars (front with high pole)
Over 80′ long requires 2 pilot cars
Over 10′ rear overhang requires 2 pilot cars

District of Columbia Pilot Car Vehicle Requirments:
No stipulations except for flashing light on top of vehicle
